Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Degree is preferred.
  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine land rating
  • GVI or GVII Type rating
  • 3,000 hours fixed-wing total flight time (total of 100 hours of simulator may be included, adjustments may be made for Military time)
  • 1,500 hours multi-engine
  • 1,500 hours turbo-jet
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in larger jets (Gulfstream 450/550/650 highly desirable)
  • Minimum 2 years' international flight operations experience
  • Actual instrument and night flight time, 10% of total time (simulator may be counted towards instrument requirement)
  • FAA First Class Medical
  • No record of accidents or violations
  • Satisfactory employment record and evidence of progressive advancement
  • United States citizen
  • Satisfactorily pass Company physical examination

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safe, consistent, legal and efficient operation of company aircraft in compliance with all applicable federal and international regulations, as well as company policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Lead and manage the flight crew when away from home.
  • Participate in the Safety Management System
  • Operate aircraft within limitations and company Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ensure compliance with customs, immigration and cabatoge laws
  • Ensure that pre-flight and post-flights are complete and notify company of deviations to any planned itinerary or overnight locations
  • Record flight times and aircraft defects
  • Advise Manager of Aircraft Maintenance of any maintenance problems that so they are corrected in a timely manner.
  • Remain in contact with passengers and be always available while on the road, and Assume any duties delegated by the Chief Pilot or Assistant Chief Pilots.

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
  • Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
  • Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
  • Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
  • Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
  • Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
