About The Position

Okie Staffing is seeking a dependable Capstan Hoist Assembler to join a manufacturing team focused on assembling heavy-duty lifting equipment. This position involves assembling components, performing quality checks, and ensuring the finished products meet rigorous safety and performance standards.
Location: Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5am to 3pm Day shift
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00/hr DOE

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and assembly instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior mechanical assembly experience preferred, especially with hoists or lifting equipment

Responsibilities

• Assembling capstan hoists and related lifting equipment components according to drawings and specifications
• Using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment assembly techniques
• Performing quality inspections to verify correct assembly and function
• Collaborating with the production team to maintain workflow and meet deadlines
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Reporting any defects or issues to supervisors promptly
