About The Position

META is seeking a high-performing Captial Sales Manager to lead revenue growth across California. This role is focused on new account acquisition, strategic expansion within hospital systems, and building long-term partnerships for META IGS and CBYON services. Reporting directly to the U.S. Sales Director, this role carries direct revenue responsibility and plays a critical role in expanding META’s footprint in one of the most competitive markets in the country.

Requirements

  • Proven experience selling into hospitals or health systems (medical device, services, or capital preferred)
  • Track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Comfortable working independently in a growth-stage environment
  • Strong executive presence with hospital administrators and physicians
  • Willingness to travel throughout California

Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for new business development and revenue growth in California
  • Opening doors to hospital administrators, supply chain leaders, and surgeon champions
  • Driving contract execution, trials, and conversions from incumbent OEM solutions
  • Building and managing a strong sales pipeline
  • Partnering closely with operations and clinical leadership to ensure flawless execution
  • Own and deliver quarterly and annual revenue targets for California
  • Identify, pursue, and close new hospital and health system opportunities
  • Lead trial-based entry strategies and convert pilots into long-term contracts
  • Expand existing accounts through increased case volume and service lines
  • Develop territory-specific strategies tailored to California health systems
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Work directly with leadership on pricing strategies, rebates, and contracting approaches
  • Identify and manage distributor relationships where appropriate
  • Leverage partnerships to accelerate market entry and expansion
  • Mentor and support regional sales contributors as the territory grows
  • Collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns and sales enablement
  • Partner with operations and clinical teams to ensure consistent service quality
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting in Salesforce
  • Provide clear visibility into deal progress, obstacles, and next steps
