About The Position

The Capital Sales Consultant, Sports at Johnson & Johnson is responsible for driving sales and achieving objectives for the PureVue Visualization System, VAPR Radiofrequency System, and FMS Fluid Management System within the Northeast US territory. This role involves collaboration with local Sports sales teams, developing business plans, and building relationships with clinical and economic champions to understand customer needs and capitalize on sales opportunities. The consultant will also ensure customer satisfaction and retention through effective product application and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree AND 3 years of relevant sales experience required, preferably in Capital Equipment sales, medical device sales, or surgical sales.
  • Associates Degree AND 5 years relevant sales experience required, preferably in capital equipment sales, medical device sales, or surgical sales.
  • 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of education requirement.
  • Certified Surgical Technician or specialized medical training/certification with 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Recently transitioned from Active Duty Military with 3 years of relevant sales experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and apply knowledge of sports procedures in the arthroscopic space to sell the DePuy Synthes Sports Capital Product Portfolio.
  • Develop and execute quarterly business plans for targeted accounts in partnership with local Sports field sales organization.
  • Build relationships with clinical and economic champions to understand customer needs and capital buying cycles.
  • Identify and convert capital sales and program opportunities in the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop appropriate capital offerings and drive implant sales growth.
  • Present and negotiate capital pricing and program performance terms with customers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through effective product usage and support.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of assigned capital equipment products and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Report any complaints or technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Travel to meet and support customers with technical product issues as needed.
  • Comply with all company policies and applicable laws.
