Capital Project Manager - Piping and Mechanical
About The Position
Burrow Global is seeking an experienced Capital Project Manager for a long-term assignment at a chemical manufacturing facility in Pasadena, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience in managing infrastructure, maintenance, reliability, and capital projects in a chemical manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be adept at driving a portfolio of engineered and funded projects through the execution phase of the project. Candidates will be managing cost, scope, schedule on each of the projects that have been approved. In addition, this position will be overseeing the construction vendors and personnel working on the various projects at the facility.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in project management in a Chemical manufacturing environment.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States for any company in an ongoing capacity without company sponsorship
- Experience with Piping, rotating, and fixed equipment is required for this position.

- PMP or other certifications in Project Management
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university or institution

Responsibilities
- Assures piping and mechanical capital projects meet project objectives (including cost, schedule, and scope) by managing the execution of assigned projects in accordance with specifications and standards
- Ensures accurate cost budgeting, estimating, forecasting and reporting of assigned projects
- Review scopes of work and construction packages including documentation
- Responsible for providing new/revised Process Safety Information to the appropriate departments
- Analyzes and manages risks on projects
- Facilitates safety and constructability reviews
- Communicates and resolves technical and commercial issues as related to project objectives
- Responsible for initiating the Management of Change, coordinating with the site PSM (Project Safety Management) representative regarding PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) requirements and participates in PHAs as needed
- Successfully communicates with leadership about the status of each project.
- Ensure all project documentation is completed
- Exercises direct control of cost and execution of assigned projects
