The Capital Project Manager Level I works under the direction of the Project Executive and is responsible for project management for capital projects utilizing both in-house resources and external consultants. This role involves coordinating and managing multiple technically complex capital project activities, supervising resident engineers, managing feasibility studies, reviewing planning and contract documents, preparing financial analyses, and serving as the University's representative to various agencies. The position requires problem-solving skills, knowledge of regulations and codes, and the ability to work independently while maintaining productive relationships with personnel.
