As the Café Coach, you'll have the unique role of leading a Café team and facilitating legendary experiences for our Customers. As the face of Capital One in the community, you'll build alliances with local organizations and collaborate with vendors to generate new business. You're more than just a manager for the Café Ambassador team, you'll be a trusted mentor and guide for their individual development and overall team performance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification.
  • At least 2 years of Customer, Retail, or Financial Services experience.
  • At least 1 year of People Management experience or 2 years Retail Bank experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of Customer, Retail, or Financial Services experience.
  • 2+ years of People Management experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and help Café Ambassadors develop professionally and personally.
  • Maintain the physical space and coach Café Ambassadors to create a welcoming environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement and bring everyone along for the ride.
  • Achieve and exceed customer-based goals and metrics.
  • Connect with Café visitors and regulars, providing assistance and showcasing services.
  • Work with local businesses, nonprofits, and charities to plan events.
  • Learn and teach Capital One's products, services, and experiences.
  • Showcase the digital experience and assist customers in navigating it.
  • Act as a customer advocate, providing concise and easy-to-understand advice.
  • Inspire and energize the Café Ambassador team.
