About The Position

Cedar is hiring a Capital Markets & Investor Relations Associate to support institutional asset-side funding initiatives, investor relations, and investment fund setup . This role exists to increase execution velocity and reliability across investor engagements, communications, and diligence processes. You will work directly with senior leadership on capital formation efforts, helping translate investor needs into clear analyses, materials, and actionable next steps. This is an opportunity to build deep institutional capital markets judgment while operating inside a fast-moving, high-bar environment.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in capital markets, real assets, investment banking, private equity, credit, strategy, or a closely related field
  • Comfort working with and pressure-testing financial models and assumptions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail in high-stakes, time-sensitive environments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams without losing rigor
  • Professional maturity and discretion when handling sensitive information

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the single source of truth for institutional investor pipelines, stages, next steps, and blockers
  • Ensure consistent follow-up, preparation, and internal readiness across parallel investor processes
  • Proactively flag risks, delays, and decision points; propose clear next steps
  • Build and continuously improve CRM and tracking systems to support repeatable asset-side capital formation
  • Support institutional diligence processes across asset-side funding programs and investment structures
  • Coordinate materials, data room content, and responses to investor questions
  • Translate investor feedback and concerns into structured internal action items
  • Prepare briefing notes and recommendations ahead of and following investor conversations
  • Help build and refine investor-facing presentations and written materials
  • Create custom analyses to support investor underwriting (returns, structure, risk, assumptions)
  • Pressure-test assumptions and ensure analytical consistency across materials
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly, concisely, and credibly
  • Assist with institutional outreach research and investor segmentation
  • Support conference preparation, participation, and follow-up
  • Help stand up repeatable processes for asset-side funding programs and investment vehicles
  • Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure execution readiness
