As a Capital Markets Associate Director - Structuring/Originations within PNC's Public Finance organization, you will be based in Los Angeles, CA. Public Finance experience highly preferred This position is primarily based in a location within PNC's footprint. Licenses required: SIE, Series 52 & 63 (79 optional) within 180 days of employment PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. Job Description Constructs and guides originating and structuring activities for a specific capital markets product, strategy or industry. Performs and utilizes complex financial analyses, due diligence and research related to capital markets transactions to manage and develop client relationships directly and as part of deal teams. Partners with sales team, relationship managers, traders and other internal service partners to originate and structure fundamental capital markets solutions to our more complex clients. Works with management and senior members of the team to identify and suggest appropriate solutions based on client objectives and market conditions. Develops and maintains client relationships. Assumes increasing responsibility to develop and maintain client relationships. Works in support of key comprehensive capital markets strategies to maximize sales, new business activity and customer support. Actively participates in the execution and leadership of these activities. Maintains current knowledge of industry and market developments, deal flow and regulatory requirements. Ensures compliance with policies and regulations. Requirements

  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.

  • DCM (Loan Syndications & Equipment Finance) – SIE, Series 79, Series 7, and 63 within 120 days of employment.
  • Derivatives – SIE, Series 7 and 63 within 120 days of employment.
  • FIG – SIE, Series 7 and 63 within 120 days of employment.
  • Fixed Income – SIE, Series 7 and 63 within 120 days of employment.
  • Foreign Exchange – SIE, Series 7 and 63 within 120 days of employment.
  • Fixed Income (Tax-Exempt): Municipal Trading and Underwriting – SIE, Series 52 and 63 (or Series 7, if taken prior to 11/7/2011, is acceptable in lieu of Series 52) within 90 days of employment.
