About The Position

The Capital Markets Agency Loan Originator at Regions is responsible for originating Multifamily/Agency Multifamily loans across various property types using programs from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA/HUD. This role involves developing marketing strategies, maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with analysts and deal managers to ensure successful loan origination and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Ten (10) years of experience with an institutional real estate lender
• Demonstrated origination track record

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a marketing strategy to achieve origination goals based upon budgeted volume targets
• Prioritizes prospects and allocates time and resources to leverage sustainable business relationships
• Demonstrates knowledge of all Agency Products and discusses Regions Bank's capabilities with clients
• Maintains updated knowledge of market trends and provides regular market intelligence reporting
• Works collaboratively with assigned Analysts and/or Deal Managers
• Maintains existing relationships and expands the client base
• Synthesizes information, identifies risks, and determines suitability of loan opportunities
• Evaluates loan requests utilizing proprietary models and industry analytics
• Maintains knowledge of specific regional markets and general familiarity of national markets
• Collaborates with underwriting, legal, and securitization professionals
• Interacts with Agency professionals and cross-sells other bank products
• Manages vendor relationships and expectations
• Manages and reports on loan pipeline
