About The Position

Our role as a leading IPP is to develop, finance, build, operate, and own renewable energy assets in the long term in Europe, Asia, and the Americas through our offices in the USA, Spain, Italy, UK, Netherlands, India, and Japan. Our team of over 350 Enfiniters comprises seasoned finance professionals, as well as experienced project developers and operators with extensive industry experience across all stages of the project life cycle. We pride ourselves on being creative and innovative solution providers to our customers and partners. Enfinity Global is looking for a Capital Markets Intern for our US business. This versatile team player will assist in diligence, negotiation & closing M&A, financings, and other corporate activities.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, or Economics (or a related discipline) preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant internship experience in investment, structure finance and development or related fields.
  • Exposure to investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A experience would be valuable.
  • Interest or exposure to the Energy & Renewables and Infrastructure sectors with basic understanding of power market fundamentals and renewable energy trends.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and corporate finance principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate into digestible messages.
  • High level of intellect, professionalism, pragmatism, integrity and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Support various phases of project and transaction execution, contribute to new business development, and aid in the overall growth of the company.
  • Assist in identifying investment and acquisition opportunities to grow the portfolio of development-stage and already-operating renewable assets and expand the business into new areas that fit within the company's strategic objectives.
  • Participate in sourcing acquisition opportunities, maintaining relationships, and contributing to deal structuring and negotiation.
  • Assist in the transaction process for acquisitions from origination, deal screening, offer stage, term sheet and MIPA negotiation, structuring financing, through contract closing.
  • Support financing transaction processes (i.e., Project Finance, Tax Equity, Capital Raising) from origination to closing, including drafting analyses, pitch materials, and investor and management presentations.
  • Lead transaction process management activities such as NDAs, VDRs and Q&A.
  • Assist in maintaining relationships with strategic partners such as EPCs, vendors, suppliers and O&M providers to support origination efforts.
  • Contribute to a variety of transactions and projects in all stages.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends.
  • Assist in financial analysis and due diligence coordination, including but not limited to financial modeling efforts.
  • Coordination of due diligence processes such as reviewing documentation, researching industry information and summarizing results
  • Provide support as required on strategic initiatives.
