About The Position

The Capital Engineering Director at 3M is responsible for managing a team of managers and project engineers to drive growth, productivity, and capital investment for the Safety & Industrial and Consumer Business Groups. This role involves budget management, project prioritization, and annual capital planning, ensuring that critical projects are executed effectively. The director will also develop the technical competency of the team and provide leadership through engineering committees and technical organizations. The position requires collaboration with internal and external partners to implement facility and equipment renewal plans, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Twelve years of Capital Project Execution or Leadership experience.
• Five years of Capital Engineering Leadership experience.

• Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited institution.
• Strong communication, planning, leadership, strategy, prioritization, and project execution skills.
