National Grid is hiring a Capital Contracts Manager for our Customer Connections department in Warwick. Within the Customer Connections Directorate, the role of the Engineering and Consultancy Solutions (ECS) Team is to maximise opportunities from the provision of contestable construction services to our customers. The ECS Capital Team focusses on services related to the construction of new capital assets within National Grid substations, which provides an alternative for our customers. This service delivered by the ESC Capital Team provides a direct value in excess of £4m annual profit for National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET). The Capital Contracts Manager will lead the team and will be accountable for providing strategic direction, leadership and driving portfolio growth whilst ensuring we deliver a high-quality service to customers from initial contact through to completion of works. This includes maximising returns from existing and future contracts in line with business expectations.
