About The Position

Role The Capillary and Gauge Field Service Technician/Driver is responsible for assisting in the installation of Capillary/Gauge equipment and peripheral devices. Act as Priority's representative to optimize, troubleshoot, implement solutions to customers' Capillary & Down Hole Gauge systems, and will drive on behalf of the company. Essential Functions Electric Submersion Pump spooling experience Interpret and/or prepare Capillary/Gauge equipment and prepare and select appropriate equipment for field. Provide input as to design criteria for artificial lift equipment. Co-ordinate and ensure safe transportation of the equipment from the shop to the well site. Conduct pre-job safety meetings with onsite personnel, and select topics as needed. Work directly with customer to advise proper procedures to follow for successful installation/retrieval. Oversee installation/retrieval of Capillary/Gauge equipment, while monitoring equipment and personnel on site for safe, efficient operation. Conduct additional safety meetings on site if needed throughout the day. Advise customer onsite on progress of job and determine any modifications/deviations to initial procedures. Stop work authority to shut down worksite at any time due to safety concerns including, but not limited to improper use of tools/equipment, departures from procedures, or anything else in employee's discretion. Ability to work independently and without supervision. Recognize inefficient system performance, analyze potential problems, and recommend/implement solutions. Use expertise to consult with customer on ways to optimize system operation. Communicate with third party vendors as needed. Timely and accurate completion of all associated paperwork, reports, records, and correspondence related to the job. Exercise independent judgement, from prior experience, to deviate from initial procedures and tools to adapt during changing conditions. Effectively interpret and communicate instructions to other employees, contractors, and field representatives in a professional and respectful manner. Promote field sales for Priority's product and services by maintaining customer relationships, and by encouraging Capillary/Gauge classes for company personnel. Actively maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all crew members and customers. Perform other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job. Promote and strictly adhere to all Company HSE policies and practices. Understand and comply with all Company or external quality standards relevant to position. Conduct all business activities in accordance with the company code of conduct, policies and procedures and all applicable legal requirements.

Requirements

  • CDL Driver's License with 1-4 years' experience required.
  • Advanced working knowledge or artificial lift/ Capillary/Gauge systems.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience Capillary/Gauge equipment preferred in artificial lift, production, completions, or similar oilfield operation(s).
  • Possess the ability to independently address rapidly changing conditions, trouble shoot, and implement solutions for successful completion.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, and efficiently prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Effectively communicate and understand job goals both verbally and written.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel.
