Join us as our new Capex Project Manager We’re looking for a team player with project and change management experience who can easily adapt to a dynamic environment. You’ll be a problem solver, influencer, conflict resolver and motivator. In this role you'll make an impact by: Directly manages capital projects across the Americas, overseeing planning, execution, and handover—including scope, schedule, budget (USD 200K–5M), safety, staffing, and procurement—with autonomy and strong stakeholder engagement. Aligning project scope across Operations teams, global colleagues, and full project team to ensure user requirements are met and solutions comply with regulations, standards, and best practices. Proactively managing schedule to ensure integration with the full project deliverables. Coordinating, supervising and directing efforts of all involved such as internal and external suppliers and resources, contractors and consultants. Conducting onsite construction audits to ensure safety and quality standards, fostering accountability and effective team delegation. Preparing regular oral and written reports of capital project progress and status. Maintain the appropriate flow of information and communication to project steering committees and other stakeholders. Facilitates monthly steering committee meetings for the key support site for CapEx projects. Ensuring project compliance with purchasing policies, safety and sanitation standards, and environmental regulations by providing engineering guidance and assessing impacts of process and equipment changes. Ensuring project documentation (e.g. as-build drawings, equipment documentation, local regulatory documentation, maintenance documentation) is updated at handover of project, and stored according to local guidelines, accessible and searchable in the future.

Requirements

  • B.S. in an engineering discipline or strongly related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant project management experience in the processing industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of several engineering and technical disciplines.
  • Experience in construction of various technical objectives in manufacturing environments.
  • Proven project management skills in schedule, scope and budget management.
  • Good organizational skills and effective written and oral communication skills in both local language and English.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management certification such as PMP preferred.
