About The Position

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Capacitor Assembler- 3rd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: The Capacitor Assembler must be proficient in slitting, cutting and folding major insulation paper. They must be able to work closely with the Group Leader, Job Setter and Production Supervisor to maintain Safety, Production and Quality requirements. Requirements

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Corporate Sponsorship
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Greenwood, South Carolina - no relocation will be provided for this role.

Responsibilities

• Review and follow daily work schedule
• Communicate schedule needs to Job Setter to ensure needed material is on hand and verify inventories
• Check specifications and necessary drawings for proper machine set ups
• Assemble capacitor units using banding machines, crimpers and other small hand tools as needed
• Train and assist others as needed
• Meet department goals for Safety and Productivity
• Ensure compliance to Quality Procedures
• Quality Alert items
• Deviation to process
• Functioning of error-proof devices
• Follow all Visual Operating Procedures (VOP)
• You will complete 5S+ activities daily.
