Capacitor Assembler, 1st Shift
About The Position
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Capacitor Assembler, 1st Shift. his position is based at our Emerald Road facility in Greenwood, SC. The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. The hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am untill 3:00 pm. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. The Capacitor Assembler must be proficient in slitting, cutting, and folding major insulation paper and work closely with the Group Leader, Job Setter, and Production Supervisor to meet safety, production, and quality requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
- Relocation is not offered for this position. Candidates must live within a 50 radius of the Greenwood, SC facility.

Responsibilities
- Review and follow the daily work schedule
- Communicate schedule needs to the Job Setter to ensure required materials are available and inventory is verified
- Review specifications and required drawings to ensure proper machine setup
- Assemble capacitor units using banding machines, crimpers, and other small hand tools as required
- Train and assist other team members as neededMeet departmental safety and productivity goals
- Ensure compliance with quality procedures, including quality alerts, process deviation requirements, proper functioning of error‑proofing devices, and adherence to all Visual Operating Procedures (VOPs)
- Complete required 5S+ activities on a daily basis
