Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, cloud engineering, or related disciplines
  • 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams or technical capability areas with direct accountability for outcomes
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD tooling, Git-based workflows, and IaC frameworks
  • Advanced understanding of observability concepts, telemetry, and monitoring platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence and partner effectively across technical and business teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading platforms or engineering enablement capabilities in regulated or financial services environments
  • Experience with Azure cloud-native services and container platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift
  • Hands-on experience with observability platforms and applying telemetry to guide engineering and operational decisions
  • Certifications in Azure, DevOps, SRE, or cloud disciplines
  • ITIL, Agile, or Lean certifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering enablement team across DevOps automation and enterprise observability
  • Build and execute the enterprise DevOps strategy aligned with Frost’s cloud, engineering, security, and modernization priorities
  • Define and drive CI/CD modernization and standardization across version control, testing, release workflows, IaC, automation, and policy-based guardrails
  • Own and mature enterprise DevOps and observability platforms, including CI/CD, Git repositories, artifact management, IaC frameworks, secrets management, pipeline security, and telemetry tools
  • Lead observability strategy and platforms, such as Splunk and Orion, to enhance detection, diagnosis, and remediation
  • Partner with Application, Cloud, Infrastructure, SRE, and Security teams to integrate DevOps standards, observability insights, governance, and DevSecOps practices across the organization
  • Improve delivery flow and operational reliability by reducing manual efforts, removing bottlenecks, and strengthening deployment and incident processes
  • Manage and evolve DevOps tools and related platforms to support technology lifecycle management and overall DevOps maturity
  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
