The Senior Manager of Capability Assurance is responsible for developing and leading the quality assurance and testing efforts for our ERP digital transformation. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all testing activities are completed on schedule and that testing coverage and defect resolution targets are met before advancing to subsequent milestones. The scope includes functional unit testing, system integration testing, end-to-end process validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing. A key focus of this role is to drive standardization across testing processes, enabling the development of program-wide KPIs aimed at enhancing the quality and efficiency of the digital product development lifecycle. This individual will also work in partnership with the test automation team to monitor and report on automation progress in alignment with the overall testing strategy. Additionally, this role contributes to strategic planning with senior leadership to ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of our ERP digital applications and systems.

  • Develop and execute the overall QA strategy for the cloud-based ERP digital product suite.
  • Monitor and drive progress toward testing milestones, ensuring defect resolution and testing completeness before advancing to subsequent phases.
  • Standardize testing processes across the program to enable consistent reporting and the development of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage the activities of the capabilities assurance team to ensure proper execution of testing strategy.
  • Lead team(s) to develop new methods and solve complex matters.
  • Support the talent strategy through hiring, onboarding, learning & development, performance, succession planning, engagement, recognition, and inclusion, diversity, and equity practices.
  • Foster a work environment that encourages employees to act with integrity and respect.
  • Set employee objectives and expectations, monitor and evaluate performance, provide meaningful feedback, and mentorship.
  • Support employee development.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies for a function or multi departments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and comprehensive testing coverage across all phases: unit testing, system integration, end-to-end process, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing.
  • Partner with the test automation team to align automation efforts with the broader QA strategy and track automation progress across the program.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to define strategic objectives that enhance software performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Interact with senior management, executives, and/or major customers which frequently involve negotiating matters of significance to the organization.
  • Reconcile multiple stakeholder views to drive business results.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in the information technology (IT), project management or business field, or at least 11 years of experience in IT in lieu of a degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT.
  • 4+ years of experience managing direct reports.
  • Proven experience in leading QA strategy and execution in complex digital product environments.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and performance testing tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Previous cloud ERP design and implementation experience strongly preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
