About The Position

Ferguson Roofing & Exteriors is hiring motivated individuals for our new Canvassing Associate – Roofing & Exteriors role to help generate new business by speaking with homeowners in assigned neighborhoods. This role focuses on setting qualified roofing inspections, not selling at the door. This is a paid position with performance incentives and a potential path into a Project Manager (sales) role for top performers. No roofing experience required and we will provide paid training.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with door-to-door outreach
• Positive attitude and resilience (you won’t win every door)
• Reliable transportation and smartphone
• Ability to work afternoons/evenings and occasional weekends

Nice To Haves

• Sales, canvassing, or customer-facing experience is a plus — but not required

Responsibilities

• Canvass assigned neighborhoods to speak with homeowners
• Educate homeowners on roofing, storm damage, and free inspections
• Set qualified appointments for roofing inspections (no selling required at the door)
• Accurately log homeowner information and appointments using SalesRabbit
• Represent Ferguson Roofing & Exteriors professionally and ethically
• Work closely with sales and production teams to support successful projects
