The Harvest and Trim Technician plays a key role in the post-production lifecycle, supporting the harvesting, trimming, and packaging of cannabis plants. Under the direction of the Post-Production Manager, this role ensures all processes are executed in alignment with company SOPs and quality standards. Requirements

Previous post-production experience required, dry trimming experience preferred.
Hard working and used to physically demanding work, standing or sitting all day.
Strong attention to detail and positive team player.
Must be at least 21 years of age, and able to pass a background check.
Energetic team player, willing to take direction and learn new skills.
Ability to complete work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity through coordinated workflow and efficient systems.
Ability to communication clearly and accurately.
Some weekends, holidays, or overtime are required.
Must be able to obtain & maintain required state licenses based on work location.

Responsibilities

Assist with all stages of the harvest process, including: Plant takedown De-stemming, trimming, and sorting
Perform trimming of dried plants, ensuring trimmed leaf, trimmed flower and stems or other waste are separated and per harvest batch to be weighted and reported properly.
Trim dried cannabis plants with precision, ensuring proper separation of flower, leaf, stems, and waste by batch.
Meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as defined by the Post-Production Manager.
Support packaging, curing, and pre-roll production as needed
Follow strict biosecurity and cleanliness protocols in all work areas.
Keep harvest areas organized and ensure proper waste disposal by batch.
Perform quality checks during trimming and packaging to ensure product standards are met.
Sanitize tools, equipment, and workspaces according to SOPs after each use.
