Summary The Quality Control Specialist assists in essential responsibilities of the inventory department and ensures state compliance and Planet 13 standards are met by performing daily audits of inventory; tracking and reconciliation of product; accounting and reporting of inventory surplus and deficits complying with all State, Local, and Company requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry-specific software.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • NV State Agent Card Required.
  • OSHA 10 Required (company paid) to be completed within 6 months of hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in perpetual inventory cycle counting and inventory accuracy checks.
  • Complete inventory procedures using electronic tracking system (ETS) and respond to any discrepancies by notifying management and investigating reasons for the discrepancy.
  • Review inventory in POS and METRC systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Responsible for the settlement of inventory discrepancies and reporting the resolution of such discrepancies.
  • Maintains compliance with METRC, ensures METRC inventory is up to date with POS system.
  • Participate in Quarterly/Yearly Audits.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures.
  • Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
