About The Position

The main role of the packaging technician is to package and label all products in the Root and Bloom stable. This includes, but is not limited to, vape cartridges, edibles, pre-rolls, pre-packed flowers, dababble extracts, and any new products that are introduced. The purpose of this role is to ensure that all products are labeled and packaged correctly per CCC regulations and per Root and Bloom's internal standards.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand/sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to grip, twist, and pull for the entirety of the shift.
• Must pass all required background checks.
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Must be approved by state badging agency to work in the cannabis industry.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage.
• Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging.
• Identify defective items.
• Properly use packaging materials and tools.
• Accurately fill all forms required by batch.
• Maintain safe working practices and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Log material waste.
• Maintain equipment and tools, including glassware/labware and storage containers.
