About The Position

Dazed! our consumption lounge is seeking a Full-Time Lounge Supervisor. Prior cannabis experience with F&B is a plus. Summary The Lounge Supervisor aids the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the lounge, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and state guidelines. This includes empowering the lounge team through clear direction, continuous coaching, and support, and implementing disciplinary measures when necessary. Lounge Supervisors actively contribute to the attainment of daily and monthly sales objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess a Nevada Food Handler Safety Card.
  • Possession of SERV Safe/Food Safety Management certification is required.
  • Annual METRC Retail Workshop training/certification required (company paid).
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry-specific software.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • NV State Agent Card Required.
  • OSHA 10 Required (company paid) to be completed within 6 months of hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day lounge operations, including opening and closing procedures for shifts.
  • Adhere strictly to all regulations, policies, processes, procedures, and roles outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance sales and increase traffic volumes.
  • Follow company cash handling policies.
  • Empower the team by providing clear direction, ongoing coaching, and support.
  • Uphold the highest standards of presentation, customer service, and understanding of guests' needs.
  • Address elevated customer service complaints with a high level of professionalism.
  • Stay informed and knowledgeable about state and local laws, regulations, and industry news.
  • Fulfill daily cleaning responsibilities.
  • Stay current on all front-of-house and back-of-house policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed on all Lounge Specialist procedures, policies, and workflow.
  • Stay informed on all Inventory Specialist procedures, policies, and workflow.
  • Stay informed on all Host Specialist procedures, policies, and workflow.
  • Conduct employee uniform inspections.
  • Lead daily pre-shift meetings.
  • Ensure hourly sales numbers and guest counts are communicated hourly via the designated sales thread.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to all company policies regarding dress code, personal hygiene, and appearance.
  • Review and delegate job responsibilities to direct reports, including operations, facilities, cleaning, etc.
  • Manage consumption lounge personnel as assigned by the General Manager.
  • Participate in monthly management meetings.
  • Communicate any work-related issues in the consumption lounge to the General Manager, such as guest complaints, employee work issues, safety concerns, product shortages, etc.
  • May assist in the hiring process by participating in the interview process.
  • Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures , and performance standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
