About The Position

This position resides in the Cannabis and Alcohol Regulation Division of Department of Revenue. These duties include the review and issuance of business licenses, worker permits and medical cards, updating the licensing system as well as reviewing and applying application fees. The licensing work unit is the primary point of contact regarding industry inquiries received via email or phone call. The position does not supervise other staff.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of program support processes, procedures and methods
  • Knowledge of word processing
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet and database systems
  • Skills in research and analysis
  • Skills in accuracy and attention to detail
  • Skills in conflict resolution & customer service
  • Skills in Microsoft programs and other database applications
  • Skills in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication

  • Follow instructions
  • Provide timely, customer service
  • Handling multiple priorities under deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of job-related work experience.
  • Eligibility for employment will be subject to Criminal Background Check and tax status review
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Successful applicants are required to successfully pass DOR tax and background check(s).

  • Preferred work experience includes Excel and MS Suite.
