We have an exciting opportunity for a Cannabis Field Specialist to join us on our journey to transform our bold ambitions for the Missouri cannabis market into a reality. Our Cannabis Field Specialist will work out of the Southwest Missouri Region with a central location in Springfield. We recommend that it would be best to live in Springfield or within an hour of Springfield, including towns like Joplin or Branson, for the most success in this role that is on the road quite often! This full-time non-exempt opportunity will start at $19.40/hour, working approximately 30-40 hours a week with the schedule including weekdays and weekends (flexible scheduling).

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a Missouri Agent ID card by start date.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Experience in marketing/promotions of consumer-packaged goods, or an internship interacting with consumers of packaged goods; including retail sales and customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment.
  • Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and tools.
  • Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Increasing brand awareness, loyalty, and sales in assigned territory.
  • Articulating the company's mission, vision, and goals to the assigned market.
  • Maintaining product displays and demo packaging in the market with regular monthly audits of in-store displays and merchandising opportunities.
  • Collaborating closely with the Marketing team on cross-department activities.
  • Establishing and building rapport with customers and the staff of wholesale partner dispensaries.
  • Weekly department and territory meetings to cover promotions, strategies and upcoming industry events.
  • Managing weekly pop-up schedule, acting as primary point of contact for wholesale partner dispensaries.
  • Participating in sales & marketing meetings, training, and workshops as necessary.
  • Special event assistance all over the state of Missouri as needed.
  • Assisting Sales Managers with building a localized plan to increase brand awareness and product sell through rates.
  • Collecting market intel such as customer trends and competitor promotions and activity.
  • Monitor and optimize digital representation with wholesale partner dispensaries, ensuring accurate and compelling product information, imagery and branding on menus.
