About The Position

Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services, is seeking energetic and organized individuals to join our team as Canine Coaches. This role is all about the dogs, and candidates must have a genuine love for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds. Upon successful completion of training, you can even bring your own dog to work!

Requirements

• Must love dogs
• Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing
• Ability to work flexible days and hours, including holidays and weekends
• Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun, fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Education in basic dog obedience and training
• Experience in customer service or sales
• Interest in additional certification programs

Responsibilities

• Maintain control of large groups of dogs
• Keep playrooms clean of messes at all times, including mopping, sweeping, trash, and water refill
• Ensure dogs are always in a clean and safe environment
• Perform meal prep with little or no guidance
• Store daycare and boarding belongings properly with correct labels
• Bathe and clip nails when needed (training provided)
• Learn to identify dog breeds and behaviors
• Report dog scuffles immediately for safe wound cleaning if needed
• Work with the team to assure our quality of care sets the standards for dog care
• Engage, play, and enjoy the furry friends!
• Understand and embody Dogtopia-isms
