About The Position

The Candle Operations Assistant is a temporary, part-time role at The Daily Wire, focused on supporting the Candle Operations Manager in the manufacturing and inventory management of candles within The Candle Club brand. The position requires maintaining cleanliness and organization in the candle area while ensuring efficient production processes.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of retail or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory cycle counts at specific times each week.
• Keep incoming raw materials organized and put away in designated locations in the Fulfillment Center.
• Pull raw materials from their locations and stage each vessel for production.
• Assist the Candle Operations Manager with the daily manufacturing schedule.
• Label, pack, and put away finished candles.
• Clean equipment, floor of candle area, and pouring tables daily.
• Ensure safe operation of all candle and Fulfillment Center equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including ad hoc projects as necessary.
