About The Position

The Manager, Cancer Research and Registry at ThedaCare is responsible for leading and managing the clinical research program and cancer registry team. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field.
• Work experience in Cancer Research or Cancer Registry preferred.
• Five years of progressive responsibility in a healthcare setting.
• Three years of leadership experience, including leading teams and/or projects.

• Experience with regulatory and certification requirements related to cancer care accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the cancer research program and cancer registry team.
• Ensure compliance with clinical trial procedures and regulatory standards.
• Oversee the accuracy of cancer data collection and timely submission to databases.
• Develop and achieve performance targets related to safety, quality, service, access, cost, and people.
• Coordinate activities with physicians, leaders, and team members to ensure departmental success.
• Lead and manage contracts related to research programming and clinical trials.
• Develop trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Implement process improvements and measure their effectiveness.
• Hire, coach, evaluate, and manage the performance of team members.
