Position Details: Location: Hybrid - St. Josephs Hospital in Tampa, FL (80% work-from-home/ 20% onsite for meetings) Status: Full time (non-exempt) Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm Days: Monday through Friday This Cancer Data Tech II role is a full-time hybrid position (80% work-from-home/ 20% onsite for meetings) requiring on-site work at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, FL. Requirements

  • High School or Equivalent
  • 2 years general medical or healthcare
  • an associate degree with an active Oncology Data Specialist (ODS)

Nice To Haves

  • Health Information Management (HIM) or Health Information Technology (HIT)

Responsibilities

  • The Cancer Data Tech II is responsible to assist and collaborate with the Cancer Registrar in abstracting of cancer cases, assisting with conferences, preparing agenda for conference and assuring clinical materials for conferences is available, responsible for follow-up of all cancer patients in the Cancer Registry and performs other duties as assigned.
