About The Position

SUMMARY: Responsible for operating a MicroBlend finished product blender, a Fleetwood lid feeder, and a can filler at levels that will ensure beverage quality and efficiency as determined by management. Can filler operators will be required to operate and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures for canning, equipment changeovers, cleaning in place and sanitation. All aspects and requirements of GMP and Food Safety are included. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Physical handling of product, materials, supplies, and equipment. Adhere to startup procedures, canning responsibilities, and changeovers. Operating equipment required of the can filler operator. Maintain machine speed at optimum operating levels. Responsible for the rinsing and pumping up product during changeovers. Responsible for the actual changing of can filler handling parts. Adhere to good manufacturing and safety standards. Responsible for meeting productivity requirements. Maintain orderly and clean work area to comply with Company safety and sanitation requirements. Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures. Complete product testing and record keeping of the results Other duties as assigned or requested. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • One (1) year general work experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret reports and work instruction.
  • Ability to respond to common inquires.
  • High degree of ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. This position requires the use of good math skills to make several calculations per minute.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions supplied in both written and verbal format.
  • Close attention to detail required to verify product and date codes.
  • Basic Computer knowledge
  • Certified Forklift License.
