About The Position

The position is for a Camunda BPMN/Developer, which is a fully remote role focused on a government project requiring US citizenship. Applicants will be subject to a government background check (Public Trust Level) and must meet eligibility requirements.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or a similar relevant technical field
• 6+ years of relevant experience for a senior level developer
• 3-6 years of relevant experience for a mid-level developer
• 1-2 years of relevant experience for a junior level developer
• Experience with BPMN/orchestration/process automation

Nice To Haves

• Design, development, testing, deploying, and debugging Camunda 7 and 8 applications (or similar technology)
• Configuring a Camunda environment
• Working with Microservices architecture using Camunda BPMN
• Experience with enterprise messaging systems (EMS, Kafka) and in-memory databases
• Working with traditional relational or document databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other databases
• Experience working with version control tools (GIT, Bitbucket)
• Working knowledge of Agile methodology
• Knowledge with migrating legacy BPM processes and rules to the latest version of Camunda
• Experience with Java and Java web frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot
• Experience of integrating Camunda with other applications via REST APIs
• Experience leading and/or mentoring junior developers
• Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understanding of cloud technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes, Cloud databases, CI/CD, serverless computing
• Experience with other programming languages such as JavaScript, VB/C#, Python, Ruby, .Net
• Experience with a modern front-end framework (Angular, VueJS, React)
• Experience with Automated API testing using tools such as JBehave, cucumber, or Selenium
