About The Position

Verification of Polishing Op being completed.
Verification that part SKU numbers and quantities match their relative Manufacturing Orders.
Visual Inspection of all camshafts from start to finish of prep.
Accurately log the movement of parts through the process.
Machine the rear face of all camshafts prior to wash with a belt sander.
Wash all camshafts making sure to completely cover in Rust Preventative.
Aids other Camshaft Dept team members with tasks throughout the day during downtime.
Mains positive working relationship with manufacturing personnel and other staff members to support a positive workplace environment.
Responsible for withholding industry standard safety procedures throughout the Camshaft department.
Keeps work area well cleaned and safe for other individuals.
Keeps other work areas well cleaned during downtime, including other areas of the Camshaft department along with other areas of the Manufacturing Center.
Performs and executes all other duties assigned by direct manager.

Requirements

• Dynamic, high-energy individual with a track record as an effective communicator and uses a collaborative approach to problem solving.
• Be able to lift up to 65 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical abilities preferred.
• Prior automotive knowledge preferred.
