In 2026, The Holdsworth Center will launch its newest program, the School Leadership Blueprint, a multi-year investment in school districts redesign school leadership roles by changing structures and buildings skills. By harnessing the expertise and leadership of teachers, rethinking the role of assistant principals and empowering principals to share leadership, districts can create a sustainable system where teachers receive the support and development they need, instruction gets stronger and student outcomes improve. You can read more about the School Leadership Blueprint here [https://holdsworthcenter.org/school-leadership-blueprint/]. Reporting to a Director on the School Leadership Blueprint team, the Campus Support Specialist role is critical to the success of campuses that implement a new school leadership architecture. Each Campus Support Specialist is responsible for outcomes at a portfolio of schools that are changing their school leadership structures. Campus Support Specialists are assigned to campuses as they prepare to change their leadership structures each spring. Throughout the first implementation year, Campus Support Specialists are on the ground directly working with principals, bridge leaders, and team/teacher leaders to develop and hone the leadership skills, systems and routines, and ways of work needed to succeed in the new model and drive results. Specialists may continue to monitor and support campuses in year two of implementation, as needed. In partnership with District Support Specialists, Campus Support Specialists will ensure that each school they are assigned to reaches its goals as part of the School Leadership Blueprint. The Campus Support Specialist supports the growth of campus leaders, teacher satisfaction and efficacy and, ultimately, student results at each of their campuses.
