About The Position

As a Campus Store Manager at Morehouse College Bookstore, you will play a pivotal role in leading all aspects of store operations. Your primary responsibility will be to inspire and guide your team to achieve sales growth while maintaining the highest standards of brand and operational excellence. This includes ensuring that your team provides an engaging customer service experience that aligns with Follett's core values: One Team, Innovate & Create, Put People First, Do What's Right, Own the Results, and Stand for Inclusion. You will also be expected to demonstrate proficiency in Follett's Strategic Core Competencies, which encompass Thought, Results, People, and Self. In this role, you will cultivate a mentorship environment that promotes continuous development among your team members. You will stay actively engaged with financial metrics and store performance, contributing to both short-term and long-term planning. Additionally, you will support the Regional Manager in managing overall store and campus relationships and operations. Your leadership will be crucial in executing operating plans and daily operations, particularly during peak periods, ensuring that all activities align with company objectives. You will also be responsible for driving results through effective sales promotions, special events, and merchandise displays. Collaborating with course materials leadership, you will lead in-store course materials activities and partner with the Regional Manager to review store financials, making necessary adjustments to drive sales while adhering to the annual shrink budget. Ensuring the security of company assets and the safety of both associates and customers will also be a key aspect of your role.
