About The Position
Security Officers – Unarmed Client Sites in Berks County Reading Multiple Shifts Available: Full time - Second shift (3pm-11pm) Full time - Overnight (11pm-7am) WEEKENDS ARE MANDATORY FOR THIS CLIENT SITE; MUST BE WILLING TO DO INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR PATROLS IN ALL WEATHER ELEMENTS; MUST DRIVE AND HAVE GREAT RELATIONSHIP BUILDING SKILLS. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and work in various environments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportion required
- Flexible availability for shifts that vary by client needs
- All candidates must pass a mandatory background check
- Required to attend an in-person orientation prior to being scheduled for any shifts
- WEEKENDS ARE MANDATORY FOR THIS CLIENT SITE
- MUST BE WILLING TO DO INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR PATROLS IN ALL WEATHER ELEMENTS
- MUST DRIVE AND HAVE GREAT RELATIONSHIP BUILDING SKILLS
Nice To Haves
- Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required
- Military veterans and active duty members receive an additional $0.25/hour bonus
Responsibilities
- Provide a professional security presence at assigned client sites
- Patrol premises, monitor access points, and report safety or security concerns
- Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports via Belfry Software
- Respond to emergencies and enforce site policies and procedures
- Maintain communication with clients, supervisors, and fellow officers
- Follow all company and site-specific security protocols
