This position exists to create and maintain a safe and secure environment, mon itor safety and security concerns, and acts as a primary point of contact for emergency personnel at Minneapolis Community and Technical College buildings and its surrounding property. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supervise a shift that consists of Student Safety Monitors. Perform scheduled unlock/lock-up of all campus buildings. Schedule may change due to special events or academic breaks. Activate/deactivate intrusion alarms as necessary. Handling and responding to any disturbances and violations of the laws of the state or rules and regulations of the college. Regulate, monitor and patrol all campus parking areas: parking ramp, auxiliary lot, Fine Arts and Kopp Hall loading dock, Technical Building loading dock ramp and area, Wells Center driveways. Ensure all campus-wide emergencies are documented and distribute all related information to appropriate designee.
