The Campus Security Manager plays a critical role in fostering a safe and secure campus environment. This position is responsible for supporting awareness of and adherence to security policies and procedures, leading safety training and drills, and collaborating with various departments to address security needs for daily operations, campus events, and public programming. The Campus Security Manager partners with campus leadership and contracted security providers to support large-scale events and activities across campus venues. This role balances operational oversight with hands-on engagement, requiring strong judgment, effective project management skills, and the ability to respond to a wide range of situations. The primary work schedule is standard business hours; however, flexibility is required to support campus events and programming that may occur during evenings and weekends. Success in this role requires an organized, service-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven, and community-oriented environment and works collaboratively to achieve results.
