About The Position

Classified Substitute positions are on an as-needed basis. These positions are not permanent. When personnel needs dictate, the Whittier Union High School District may hire substitute employees as necessary to carry on the functions of the District. Applicants will be screened for minimum qualifications and experience. Selected applicants will be invited test. All employees are fingerprinted as required by the California Education Code and will be processed by the State of California Department of Justice. Each candidate will be responsible for payment cost of $49.00.This cost does not include fingerprint rolling fee.

Requirements

  • Certification (State-required school security training certificationE.C. 38001.5} (If N/A please attach a word document stating that you will obtain certification if selected.))
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (Current and Valid (If N/A please attach a document stating that you will obtain certification if selected.))
  • Driver's License Copy (current and valid)
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two dated within the past year)
  • Proof of HS Graduation (HS Diploma or GED Equivalent (GED transcripts are required) or College Transcripts or AA/BA/BS Degree)
  • Resume
