The Lead Dispatcher is responsible for managing incoming communications, coordinating timely responses, and ensuring efficient communication between relevant parties across NYU's global enterprise. This includes receiving, evaluating, and prioritizing all emergency and non-emergency calls for service, ensuring that the appropriate response units are dispatched promptly. In addition to managing dispatch operations, the Lead Dispatcher is tasked with leading, advising, and training both new and current personnel. This role involves coordinating shift coverage and ensuring compliance with all established operating procedures.
