Campus Safety at the Prescott Campus is seeking a dedicated Campus Safety & Security Supervisor to oversee shift operations and ensure the safety of our campus community. This role requires a high level of integrity, professionalism, and leadership. Supervisors are responsible for managing direct reports, implementing policies and procedures, conducting investigations, and resolving security-related concerns. Must be available to work outside of normal shifts as needed, including on call availability.

  • High school (or GED) level ability in spelling, grammar, basic composition, and math.
  • 3-5 years of work related experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
  • No felony convictions, must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Valid Arizona Driver's license, must meet the University's standards for approved drivers.
  • AZ DPS unarmed and armed guard cards.
  • CPR/AED certification.
  • Experience in law enforcement, corrections, military, or similar role in security.
  • Dispatch functions training within six months of becoming a supervisor.
  • IS - 300 Intermediate Incident Command Systems training within one year of becoming a supervisor.
  • Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) training within one year of becoming a supervisor.
  • Clery Center Virtual Clery Act Training (VCATS) within one year of becoming a supervisor.
  • AZ DPS General Instructor Registration within one year of becoming a supervisor.
  • CRASE Instructor certification.
  • 15 days of personal leave in the first year.
