About The Position

Equity Methods is looking for a welcoming, energetic, and detail-oriented Campus Recruiting & People Engagement Coordinator. The goal of this position is to act as Equity Methods’ brand ambassador to students and university contacts to showcase company culture, build relationships, and attract top talent for our consulting teams. Similarly, this position works as an internal ambassador to our employees, supporting a tight-knit and collaborative environment with engaging internal events and training programs. With rapid growth, we are expanding our recruiting initiatives and running many internal events. Our Campus Recruiting & People Engagement Coordinator will be a welcoming, proactive, and organized professional who is able to execute in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work on a friendly, motivated, and highly effective team that values collaboration and celebrates wins. Please note that this position does require availability for short 1-3 day trips multiple times during the year, particularly in the early Spring and Fall. Additional brief trips may occur at other times of the year.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in any field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Superb interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to communicate succinctly and adapt to different working styles.
  • Demonstrates competence in working with numbers and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to write logical, grammatically correct instructions and correspondence.
  • Self-motivated learner who seeks out relevant information.

  • Good skills with a cell phone camera.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate successful campus recruiting initiatives and ensure a positive, high-touch experience for all parties.
  • Communicate with university staff and students to showcase the EM brand and attract potential candidates.
  • Act as the central point of contact for university relationships.
  • Connect with clubs, campus recruiting contacts, and more to facilitate consultant-to-faculty relations and student touchpoints.
  • Maintain a contact list of promising students, nurture relationships, and plan timely reach-outs to stay connected.
  • Track and update university contact lists according to company practices.
  • Facilitate and attend on-campus and virtual career events.
  • Review resumes and applications and conduct initial phone calls and/or screening interviews for select campus candidates.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to university owners, plan recruiting trips, organize and lead semester kickoffs.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team on opportunities and elements needed to successfully promote the Equity Methods brand.
  • Help facilitate new hire onboarding training.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to ensure timing and details align with program goals.
  • Develop novel, creative, and impactful content for information sessions, case studies, workshops, and more.
  • Utilize exemplary research and vetting skills in researching and coordinating recruiting event logistics.
  • Competently work within the ATS to ensure job postings are managed and refreshed.
  • Schedule flights and hotels for out-of-state candidates being flown in as needed.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand individual event goals and develop appropriate programs.
  • Promote a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all employees.
  • Set up and teardown materials for internal events.
  • Oversee event happenings and act quickly to prevent and resolve problems in real-time.
  • Evaluate event success, collect feedback from stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in the function.
  • Track and nudge progress forward on open initiatives.
  • Support gifting and holiday initiatives.
  • Coordinate on the ground logistics and pre-travel arrangements for various travel teams.
