About The Position

Carson-Newman University is seeking a Campus Post Office Manager to manage and operate the Campus Post Office. This role involves serving as the primary customer service agent for the Campus Post Office, greeting students, employees, and guests both in person and on the phone. The manager will be responsible for general office duties, including answering the telephone, responding to email correspondence, maintaining appropriate filing, and keeping office supplies and stamps adequately stocked. The position also includes receiving and distributing all campus mail and packages for students, staff, and faculty, as well as hiring and evaluating student workers through the work study program. The manager will prepare a departmental operating budget, schedule and maintain office equipment, and complete monthly reports to the Treasurer's Office for inventory and departmental charges incurred. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is essential.
