This is a non-supervisory, entry-level position for sworn law enforcement officers. The incumbent is expected to provide basic law enforcement services to the college-wide community within the mission, goals, and objectives of the agency in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. The incumbent will be assigned to a campus and shift as necessary for agency success. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions, near moving mechanical parts, in high/precarious places, with firearms and explosives, and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibrations.
