Position Summary: The Campus Patrol is responsible for the general safety of the campus which includes making rounds in order to monitor the campus security services, check automobiles, apartments, other buildings, grounds, etc. The Campus Patrol checks visitors and residents in and out of community entrance and parking, alerts law enforcement of suspicious circumstances, and transports residents on campus. The Campus Patrol is to be able to work nights, weekends and holidays. This position will primarily be scheduled for overnight shifts. The starting salary for this position ranges from $17.75 to $21.53/hour. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D. preferred
  • First aid training required
  • Must have a valid California driver's license and no more than one at-fault (preventable) accidents or two moving violations within the last three years
  • Must be insurable by Eskaton's automobile insurance carrier
  • Basic safety knowledge and writing skills for record-keeping required
  • The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test and health screen
