About The Position

The Campus Pastor serves as the primary leader for one of Menlo Church’s multi-site campuses and plays a vital role in advancing the broader vision and mission of the church. This position requires a servant-hearted leader who can both lead and collaborate effectively, recognizing that success in a multi-site context often involves flexibility and shared decision-making for the sake of the greater mission. Campus Pastors must possess a strong collaborative spirit, working closely with fellow Campus Pastors and the Leadership Team on strategic planning and church-wide initiatives. This role requires a willingness to balance individual campus needs with the priorities of the whole church, often requiring adaptability and humility in decision-making. As spiritual leaders, Campus Pastors are expected to live lives of integrity and model what it means to follow Jesus with faith and purpose. They are responsible for casting vision, leading and developing staff, overseeing weekend services, and partnering with central ministry leaders to implement impactful programs. While occasional preaching is part of the role, the primary focus is on shepherding, equipping, and empowering teams to make disciples who make disciples. A successful Campus Pastor is deeply committed to understanding and loving the unique community they serve. Each campus reflects a different local context, and the Campus Pastor must be attuned to the specific needs, challenges, and opportunities within that environment. With emotional intelligence and a heart for people, the Campus Pastor offers pastoral care, navigates conflict with grace, and leads with compassion.
