Campus Missionary II - Non-Resident
About The Position
The Campus Missionary II is an entry-level ministry position whereby the Campus Missionary is engaged in the care of souls on a College/University campus. Essential Function: Employee must be spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally able to fulfill these assignments and tasks to fill this position. Conduct assigned ministry with a “Christ-like Servant Spirit” consistent with the mission, priorities, strategies, and goals of their assigned Baptist Collegiate Ministry. Contribute to all phases of responsibilities to the Mission and Objectives of the organization. Demonstrate sufficient self-discipline within their behavior, whether at work or not, so as not to impede or degrade the effective realization of the mission and strategies of the organization. Exercise discipline to complete tasks and work alone with general supervision. Travel occasionally to various events and work extended and irregular hours, as necessary.

- Ability to safely operate an automobile
Nice To Haves
- Education: four academic years completed at the college or university level
- Experience: Having held a volunteer leadership role in a ministry to college and university students.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic computer skills utilizing common office software
- Basic skill utilizing social media
- Basic operation of audio-visual equipment
Responsibilities
- Periodic Worship leadership
- Teaching the Bible to ministry participants
- Encouraging students to grow as Christian Disciples
- Provide assigned supervision of other employees and volunteers
- Perform light janitorial tasks on occasion and as needed (mopping, sweeping etc.)
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
