About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Campus Dietitian for Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, IN. This highly visible, student-facing role involves working closely with students, athletics, and campus partners to support nutrition, wellness, and dining initiatives. The position provides individualized nutrition counseling, manages diet and allergy accommodations, and delivers targeted education for a large athlete population. The Registered Dietitian also leads wellness programming, table events, Mindful initiatives, and educational events to enhance the student dining experience. Sodexo welcomes applications from both recent graduates and experienced dietitians for this role.

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian, licensed in Indiana, or eligible to obtain
  • Personable, relatable, and comfortable engaging with college students
  • Strong public‑speaking skills and confidence interacting with athletic teams
  • Organized with strong time‑management abilities
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (or Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) for those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24)
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MI, athletes, and allergy management preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide one‑on‑one nutrition counseling using motivational interviewing (MI)
  • Manage diet accommodations and food allergy needs
  • Collaborate with dining and culinary teams
  • Deliver nutrition education for students, including vegetarian, healthy eating, and performance nutrition topics
  • Support athletics with team talks, fueling guidance, and snack‑table support for events
  • Lead table events, Mindful wellness programming, and cooking class opportunities
  • Represent dining services at campus events, orientation, and student outreach activities
