About The Position

Operate the bus in a safe and effective manner to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life. Pick up and deliver employees, students, and guests as per a schedule. Operate the bus in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. Perform safety and maintenance checks. Clean the bus as scheduled and/or required. Ensure the bus is safely and securely stored.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license/Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid CDL license with air brakes and passenger endorsement is required.
• Ability to be insurable is required.
• Be able to work as needed for students and the instructors is required.
• Must provide courteous treatment of and assistance to visitors
• Be able to work frequently in a seated position
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others and damage to vehicle when operating car, truck, or buses on campus and public roads and experience in long-distance driving required.
• Personal history must be free of criminal convictions which legally precludes employment in a position of trust
