About the position

The year-round Intern program is designed for people who are deeply committed to Jesus Christ and desire to intern at camps to help create and provide an environment where staff, volunteers, and guests of Miracle Ranch can experience Christ. We believe this will be a life-changing experience where each intern will grow spiritually, personally, relationally, and professionally and will come away more energized and prepared for a lifetime of service. Interns will be part of the camp community and expected to be regularly involved in community activities.

Responsibilities

• Hosting guest groups
• Facilitating activities
• Summers staff recruiting
• Program planning
• Sound and video operation
• General repairs
• Landscaping
• Vehicle operation and maintenance
• Cabin turnover
• Laundry
• General cleaning
• Food prep
• Inventory
• Meal service
• Horse weekends
• Trail rides
• Feeding and cleaning of animals
• Events marketing
• Development of promo material
• Phone calls
• Work collaboratively with all Camps staff and customers
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior
• Is a committed Christian who is dedicated to continued spiritual growth and development
• Prayerfully seeks God's will in their own lives and in their ministry at CRISTA
• Engages our ministry including staff and colleagues through prayer and participation in spiritual practices
• Affirms, aligns with and supports CRISTA's Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement
• Conducts themselves in a manner which reflects well on CRISTA Ministries
• Demonstrates the values of a CRISTA leader
• Associates degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent relevant work experience

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experiences coordinating events by phone
• Ability to multi-task
